Job Description
Automation testing across various technologies and product sets
Design and build automation test frameworks
Work front end and back end
Bug verification tracking and fixing
Test preparation, test design, execution, and reporting
Defect management lifecycle exposure (using Jira) from defect reporting to
Track and publish the status of development, maintenance, and execution of automation test suits
Work as a key member of the Delivery Team to understand requirements and technical solutions under test
Work with manual testers, developers, and SME's to understand the business domain and the system functionality
Utilize the approved test automation frameworks to develop automation in a fast-paced agile environment
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in Functional and Automation Testing.
• Strong knowledge of software testing process, principles, frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Good experience in the software test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TFS & Micro Focus..etc)
• Experience with API testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Postman, SoapUI)
• Extensive experience in test automation using industry-standard tools and frameworks (e.g., robot framework, Playwright, Selenium, Appium).
• Experience in programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python) to develop and maintain automated test scripts.
• Hands on experience on DB Testing and SQL skills including complex query writing.
• Hands on experience on different types of testing such as Web , Mobile, regression, integration, and end-to-end.
• Experience working with Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex software systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Professional certification, such as ISTQB-CTFL ISTQB-CTAL
