Job Description
We are a dynamic hospitality company, Brassbell, specializing in transforming spaces into exceptional serviced apartments. As a key player in the industry, we are seeking a talented and experienced Hospitality Interior Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our clients and collaborating with our team throughout the refurbishment process, ensuring the successful transition from renovation to operational guest reception.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with our team to understand the vision and objectives of our clients for space refurbishment projects.
Provide expert advice on interior design concepts that align with the desired guest experience and overall brand identity.
Develop detailed design plans, including floor plans, color schemes, material selections, furniture layouts, and lighting designs.
Select and source furniture, fixtures, finishes, and equipment (FF&E) that meet both aesthetic and functional requirements, considering durability, ease of maintenance, and guest comfort.
Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other professionals involved in the refurbishment process to ensure smooth execution and timely project completion.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure adherence to design plans, and address any emerging challenges or modifications.
Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of all necessary items for the project.
Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and innovative design solutions, integrating them into projects where appropriate.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Interior Designer in the hospitality or serviced apartment industry.
- Deep understanding of hospitality design principles, including space optimization, guest flow, and functionality.
- Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics, ensuring designs reflect Brassbell's commitment to providing a superior guest experience.
