Job Description

  • Follow-up and receive Letter of Credit's from our banks in Saudi, UAE and Thailand
  • Scrutinize the Letter of Credit's and ask for amendments, if any, directly from customers and/or Customer Service teams
  • Compliance clauses to be clarified with the Compliance Team
  • Update systems with Letter of Credit details and conditions
  • Create ocean bill of lading instructions as per Letter of Credit for shipping companies
  • Generate final invoices and packing list after receipt of ocean bill of lading
  • Prepare invoice, packing list, beneficiary certificates, bill of exchange and bank cover letter as per Letter of Credit conditions
  • Compile the documents as per Letter of Credit and arrange to submit to bank per regional requirements
  • Trouble shoot discrepancies, if any, directly with bank
  • Follow-up with bank and make sure the docs are dispatched to issuing bank after negotiation
  • Scan copy of all documents for our records
  • Send copy of documents to customer by mail
  • Follow-up with bank and make sure the documents are dispatched to issuing bank after negotiation
  • Thorough knowledge of UCP 600, ISBP and Incoterms 2010

Job Requirements

  • Academic degree in business administrative majors
  • Relevant experience in desired role
  • Basic accounting proficiency
  • Expert level in English and Arabic language is mandatory
  • Ability to work on a team as well as be self-directed with independent decision-making capabilities
  • Possess strong communication and negotiation skills to handle simple and/or complex situations
  • Must be resourceful, results driven and able to multi-task and prioritize work with a sense of urgency

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience in large multi-national organizations preferably in manufacturing or construction industry
  • Accounts receivable knowledge/experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.)
  • Familiarity with GetPAID collections software
