Finance Intern

Finance Intern We're looking for someone who wants to kickstart their career with an exciting Finance internship. Working as part of our local Finance team, this placement is guaranteed for up to 6 months, with the potential to start their career within multi-national market leader.

Your key responsibility will be to support our local team in daily Finance, Accounting and Taxations tasks and projects. Working closely with our Finance Director, you will provide him with ad-hoc analyses, business cases and prepare relevant financial data. Also, you will support our local team in their preparation for our year-end-closing and upcoming financial audits. For this, you will be collaborating with our regional Share-Service-Center colleagues.
Furthermore, you will be working closely with our Accounts Receivable team which you will assist to ensure timely action is taken to maximize cash collection from Hilti customer accounts. You will be involved in actioning account receivable accounting & reporting, credit management and resolving customer queries in a timely and efficient manner.

What you need is:

A Bachelor’s Degree; Finance / Accounting is preferred A valid Qatari residency, under family sponsorship Prior working experience through internships or traineeships in relevant fields Strong Computer literacy (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint) Effective communication skills, with a strong proficiency in English - written and verbal. Attention to detail and high learning agility Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
