Job Description
- Maintain and build assigned customer accounts. Provide sales support to existing accounts, solicit new customers, and make sales presentations.
- Build strong long-term relationships that will serve as the foundation for long-term business growth.
- Perform daily pricing and sales negotiations with accounts to maximize sales, margins and inventory. Work with inventory and pack schedule programs.
- Develop time-sensitive promotions and account plans.
- Manage customer orders and logistics.
- Solve billing problems and coordinate with accounting to ensure prompt collection of account receivables. Ultimately responsible for the collection of all funds in a timely manner.
- Work with quality control, inventory control and transportation to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provide backup, as needed, to other account managers in their absence.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred in a medical field (Pharmacy, Science, Vet).
- Strong computer skills with knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and outlook.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, and act independently, and make competent decisions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English and preferably to have a second language (Italian, German, Spanish)
- Strong understanding of international trade regulations and compliance.
- Proven ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
