Job Description
- Take responsibility for accounts payable receivable cash forecasting revenue and expenditure variance analysis capital assets reconciliations.
- Check runs fixed asset activity debt activity etc developing and managing financial systems models
- Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports
- Work directly with the other finance managers (Treasury, Compliance officer) and oversee all accounting department;
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including: Month and end-year process closing on time with the corporate deadline
- Revenue and expenditure variance analysis
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
- Regularly examine financial statements and ensure they are accurate and free of any errors
- Organize and update financial records; monitor all bookkeeping
- Analyze accounts and suggest improvements to reduce costs and increase profits
- Make sure all financial data adheres to current tax laws, regulations, and International standards (IFRS)
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
- Coordinate and complete annual audits and act as the main interface with the financial auditors.
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
- Coordinate with the Group consolidation team and the regional financial FPA
- Evaluate computerized accounting systems and provide recommendations to IT team for performance improvements.
- Generate financial reports and statements to Managers for review.
- Monitor expenditures, analyze revenues and determine budget variances and report the same to management.
- Prepare annual balance sheet audited by internal accountant.
- Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities for assigned accounts.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree of Commerce.
- From 5 to 7+ years of experience in the same position.
- Preferred CMA Holders.
- Excellent strategic planning skills and able to interact with all levels.
- Outstanding communication skills, written and verbal.
- Must have knowledge of ERP System.
- Very good command of English.
