Job Description
- Develop and manage the annual budget for Circle K Egypt, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.
- Perform regular cost analyses, comparing budgeted costs to actual costs, identifying variances, and suggesting corrective actions.
- Work with the sales and marketing teams to set prices for products and services, ensuring they cover costs and deliver a profit margin.
- Monitor inventory levels and values, coordinating with the procurement and operations departments to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.
- Prepare regular financial reports detailing cost status and provide insights to management at Circle K Egypt for decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures, and implement controls to prevent inaccuracies in financial statements.
- Track and analyze expenses, ensuring that all costs are recorded correctly and allocated to the appropriate departments.
- Assist in negotiating terms with vendors and suppliers to secure the best prices and terms for Circle K Egypt.
- Continuously seek ways to improve cost control processes and implement best practices within Circle K Egypt's financial department.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Typically, 3-5 years of experience in cost control or accounting.
- Experience in the retail or convenience store industry is preferred.
- Very good written and verbal communication skills
