Job Description
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice logistics vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.
- Manage the organization relationship with different legislative authorities that is involved in the Import &Export and other regulative authorities.
- Develop long term relation with agriculture companies/ small farmers and farmers unions.
- Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy.
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Finance teams.
- Recommend & plan routes and process shipments.
- Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports or customer issues.
- Determine key supply chain KPIs.
- Suggest solutions for process improvements.
- Build and maintain good relationships with vendors.
- Planning the best way to get goods from suppliers to distribution centers and retailers.
- Tracking shipments and stock levels.
- Working with retailers to make sure they receive their goods on time and in the right condition.
- Monitoring overall performance to make sure targets are met.
- Preparing forecasts and inventories.
- Create supply chain management strategies that increase efficiency and speed.
- Optimize warehouse functions.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 10+ years experience in the same filed.
- Postgraduate studies are preferred.
- BS in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain.
- Planning and organizational skills.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Business analysis.
