Job Description
- The Product Owner develops and maintains a vision for a feature (from concept to delivery) and is responsible for communicating that vision to the scrum team and core stakeholders across the business.
- Must possess the ability to bring in feedback from customers, users, and multiple stakeholders and develop a feature that carries an ROI.
- Must be able to conduct customer interviews, market research, and be able to present that data to the product organization and other executives within the business.
- Should be able to build and understand cost and/or financial models associated with the product holistically as well as their designated features.
- Responsible for creating, maintaining and prioritizing the product backlog, release plans and sprint backlog.
- Communicate and collaborate with other Scrum teams to define, track and integrate components across related solutions.
- Demo team products to stakeholders and customers, including executives both inside and outside of the company
- Drive user acceptance testing and test defect resolution
- Prioritize bugs and hot fixes to align with overall product metrics and objectives
- Ensure the product/feature meets or exceeds the metrics for time, revenue/profitability and delighting the customer.
Job Requirements
- At least 4 years in a Product Owner role in any technology company
- A technical background prior to going into the product world role is a big plus
- A strong understanding of User-Centered design
- PSPO certifications are a plus,
- Must be able to develop user stories in the depth required to enable the implementation teams to enable efficient development and deliver a quality outcome.
- Experience with Scaled Agile Framework a big plus.
