Job Description

Analysis & Control:

  • Owns and coordinates all aspects of annual budget plan and monthly forecasts.
  • Tracks, analyzes, and reports budget variances on regular basis.
  • Reviews the company's Financial Statements to ensure their accuracy & completeness.
  • Recommends changes in policies and/or procedures contributing in the improvement of the overall Financial function performance.
  • Avoids receiving and audit or management letters and handles any related points in case of such incident.
  • Ensures compliance to all Financial policies, processes, and SOPs. 
  • Takes the initiative in suggesting improvements in Financial processes & procedures especially in ones improving savings.

Reporting:

  • Prepares monthly closing reports for Senior Management, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements post the end of every month and quarter.
  • Provides accurate on-demand Financial reports as per Management’s request.

ERP System Implementation:

  • Leads the ERP implementation process, starting from handling all necessary preparations to coordinating different activities with various stakeholders on that front.
  • Acts as the main focal point of the Finance ERP during post go-live phase.
  • Utilizes any updated or newly introduced technologies other than ERP for enhancing the Finance function.
  • Performs any other tasks requested from Finance Director or Executive Director.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 10 to 15 years of experience in different areas of Finance; AP, AR, General Accounting, Financial Analysis & Budgeting.
  • Experience in Educational Institutes is preferred.
  • Accuracy and attention to details
  • Very good communication skills
  • Very good leadership skills & ability to lead change and pursue implementation of new initiatives.
  • Good level of punctuality and accountability.
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent level of English language
  • Previous deep knowledge with ERP systems and ERP Implementation cycle.
  • Excellent knowledge of all MS. applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel…)
  • Five days a week
