Job Description

 Key Responsibilities:

1- Budget Preparation & Variance Analysis

  • Collect historical cost data to develop annual budget estimates.
  • Analyze variances between actual costs and forecasts, recommending corrective actions.
  • Provide detailed reports to management on financial performance and budget adherence.
  • Develop cost optimization strategies to enhance financial efficiency.

2- Inventory Monitoring & Control

  • Track inventory levels and analyze storage-related costs.
  • Conduct periodic stock audits to minimize discrepancies and waste.
  • Coordinate with production and procurement teams to ensure optimal material availability.
  • Enhance inventory management policies to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

3- Cost Systems Development & ERP Implementation

  • Design and implement a comprehensive cost accounting system tailored to production projects.
  • Input and analyze financial data within the ERP system for accuracy and reporting.
  • Improve accounting processes related to cost tracking for better transparency.
  • Train relevant teams on ERP cost accounting functionalities for seamless adoption.

4- Pricing Strategy & Cost Analysis 

  • Develop accurate pricing models based on material costs, labor, and overhead expenses.
  • Conduct profitability analysis for different project types and custom orders.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure competitive and sustainable pricing.
  • Monitor market trends to adjust pricing strategies accordingly.

5- Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare monthly financial reports reflecting cost and inventory performance.
  • Develop financial analysis tools to support strategic decision-making.
  • Provide insights into project profitability and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Optimize reporting processes using advanced financial analytics tools.

 

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in cost accounting, inventory management, and pricing analysis,  in the manufacturing industry.
  • Certifications: CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (such as SAP or Oracle) and advanced Excel.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding manufacturing cost structures, raw material procurement, pricing strategies, and inventory workflows.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret financial data, identify cost-saving opportunities, and enhance pricing models.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to collaborate with production, procurement, and sales teams.
