About the Role:
- We seek a Technical Writer with a solid background in accounting to create high-quality documentation for software products, primarily in the financial domain.
- You will be responsible for writing clear, user-friendly manuals, guides, and other technical documents to help end-users understand and effectively utilize our software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive software documentation, including but not limited to user manuals, quick-start guides, and how-to tutorials...etc.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and subject matter experts to gain a deep understanding of financial software features.
- Simplify complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and well-structured documents targeted at end-users.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with product releases.
- Review and edit existing documents to enhance clarity and readability.
- Gather feedback from users and internal teams to continuously improve documentation quality.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Strong background in business, finance, or accounting (degree or relevant experience).
- Ability to understand financial and accounting concepts and explain them.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.
- Proficiency with documentation tools (e.g., MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Google Docs).
- Familiarity with financial software, ERP systems, or accounting platforms is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Preferred to have:
- Experience with any financial accounting ERP software.
- Knowledge of professional writing and creating user-centered content.
- Familiar with software development processes.
