Job Description

  • Lead and manage the purchasing team, ensuring smooth and efficient operations of the purchasing section.
  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies to support the company's real estate projects and objectives.
  • Oversee the procurement of all materials, equipment, and services needed for real estate projects, including construction, maintenance, and office supplies.
  • Analyze and forecast purchasing needs based on project timelines and business requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers and vendors, ensuring competitive pricing, quality standards, and timely delivery.
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, ensuring compliance with contract terms, quality, and delivery timelines.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including construction, finance, and legal, to ensure seamless coordination on procurement activities.
  • Review purchase orders, manage approvals, and maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and budget constraints in all purchasing activities.
  • Conduct regular market research to identify new suppliers and innovative products that could enhance procurement efficiency or reduce costs.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliability and resolve any issues that may arise.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in purchasing and procurement, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role within the real estate industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of purchasing processes, vendor management, and procurement strategies, particularly within the real estate and construction sectors.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English (both written and spoken) is preferred.
