Job Description
- Lead and manage the purchasing team, ensuring smooth and efficient operations of the purchasing section.
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to support the company's real estate projects and objectives.
- Oversee the procurement of all materials, equipment, and services needed for real estate projects, including construction, maintenance, and office supplies.
- Analyze and forecast purchasing needs based on project timelines and business requirements.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers and vendors, ensuring competitive pricing, quality standards, and timely delivery.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, ensuring compliance with contract terms, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Collaborate with other departments, including construction, finance, and legal, to ensure seamless coordination on procurement activities.
- Review purchase orders, manage approvals, and maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and budget constraints in all purchasing activities.
- Conduct regular market research to identify new suppliers and innovative products that could enhance procurement efficiency or reduce costs.
- Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliability and resolve any issues that may arise.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in purchasing and procurement, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role within the real estate industry.
- In-depth knowledge of purchasing processes, vendor management, and procurement strategies, particularly within the real estate and construction sectors.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Fluency in Arabic and English (both written and spoken) is preferred.
