Job Description
- Receipt of the estimated assays approved by the cost control engineer.
- Making contracts, purchase orders and requests for items from the warehouse for each project.
- Set price comparisons for more than one supplier.
- Create a database of suppliers for all items used in the department's projects.
- Updating the department's library with the latest trends, materials and catalogs.
- Searching for new suppliers and attending the opening of new stores for many suppliers to obtain competitive prices.
- Follow up on contracts and purchase orders, and receive them after approval from the Contracting Department.
- Knowing the contract terms for each supplier, the penal terms and any required data.
- Coordination with the auditor on a regular basis to make a disciplined actual assessment and give him a copy of purchase orders and contracts.
- Receipt of an actual inventory from the project engineer before issuing any new purchase order.
- Responsible for archiving documents for all projects.
- Submit a daily and weekly follow-up report to the direct manager.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Fine Art, Applied Arts or a related field
- Proficiency in ICDL, Outlook and AutoCAD
- Ability to create reports and presentations
- Strong experience and awareness of the design and purchasing process
