Job Description
- Ensure that the warehouse operates at the highest efficiency by supervising, organizing and training warehouse employees, establishing operational objectives, monitoring and managing them.
- Develop warehouse operational systems by identifying product handling and storage requirements, equipment usage, inventory, and shipping methods.
- Train and manage the warehouse team to solve daily operational issues and achieve short- and long-term performance goals.
- Supervise daily operations while monitoring and managing inventory and logistics services.
- Review and prepare work flows, employment requirements, space allocation, equipment layouts, and work plans that meet company standards for productivity and quality.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by setting standards, procedures, and compliance with legal regulations.
- Supervise daily warehouse activities including quality assurance, inventory monitoring, space management, logistics services, ground productivity, and shipping.
- Schedule and supervise the warehouse team, manage workflow and work quality to achieve maximum efficiency and reduce overtime work.
- Regularly meet with warehouse leaders to analyze productivity and develop actionable plans to prevent losses
- Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations
- Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
- Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
- Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
- Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any relevant field – Science Bachelor’s is preferred .
- 10+ years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in the for herbs and Chemicals plants industry.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs and ERP systems.
- Excellent proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Fellowship degree (or equivalent) in Logistics Services or Supply Chain Management.
- Proficiency in SCM+ for warehouses.
- Proficiency in warehouse procedures and policies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company employees.
