Senior Java Developer

We are looking to hire a Senior Java Developer to join our team. You will take responsibility for designing, developing, and delivering high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems.
You will be part of a talented software team that works on mission-critical applications.
Java developer roles and responsibilities include managing Java/Java EE application development while providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing.

Job Description:

Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
Write well designed, testable, efficient code
Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
Prepare and produce releases of software components
Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review evaluating changes and updates to source production systems.
Design, implement and maintain Java-based applications that can be high-volume and low-latency
Analyze user requirements to define business objectives
Envisioning system features and functionality
Define Application Objectives and functionality
Ensure Application Designs Conform with Business Goals
Develop and Test Software
Identify and Resolve any Technical Issues Arising
Create Detailed Design Documentation
Propose Changes to current Java infrastructure
Develop Technical Designs for Application Development
Develop Multimedia Applications
Write Well Designed, Testable Code
Conducting Software Analysis, Programming, Testing, and Debugging
Manage Java and Java EE Application Development
Develop Documentation to help users
Transforming Requirements into Stipulations
Prepare and Produce Releases of Software Components
Support continuous Improvement - investigating alternatives and technologies, and presenting for architectural review

Relevant experience

4+ years of engineering experience.
Excellent understanding of OOP, design patterns, Java concepts and Spring boot development.
Industry experience building RESTful services.
Very Good Experience in Java, building RESTful services and use microservices.
Very Good Experience in Postgres Database, ORM tool (Hibernate, JPA).
Very Good in understanding of code versioning tools mainly Git.
Very Good in Kafka, MuleSoft.
Hands on experiences in Jenkins, version control (Git).
Very Good Communication & Interpersonal skills.
Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) practices is a plus.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
