Job Description
- Assist the CFO and overseeing the finance matters of the overseas entities in the Middle East region (“Region”).
- Primarily responsible for group financial reporting; preparations & analyze financial aspects of the business, with accurate & timely monthly quarterly, and annual consolidation financial statements; detailed P&L, Cash Flow and Balance Sheet analysis to deliver quality variance analysis and commentary for identifying business trends, risks and opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Credit Control; preparation of bi-weekly reporting of credit aging including planning of credit exposure and impact of cash flow.
- Develop effective key performance indicators (KPl) to assist in the managing and controlling of the business & provide monthly timely report for monitoring business unit performance to ensure the highest level of performance is achieved.
- Preparation report of current & projected cash flow requirements to ensure optimum liquidity position.
- Lead in budget/forecast preparation activities in developing long term strategic planning including our two-year plan and quarter/annual budget.
- Review the cost structure of the group and find ways to achieve cost optimization and strengthen internal controls in the region.
- Assume responsibilities for local statutory reporting, accounting and tax by monitoring current and impending changes to local regulation including tax & VAT and makes appropriate updates to policies and strategies to ensure the company is fulfilling its legal obligations in the Region.
- Active involvement in external audits and required follow up actions for the Entities in the Region.
Job Requirements
- 7 years of experience with credible knowledge of the preferably tourism industry.
- CPA or CFA or CMA is highly desirable.
- Fluent English Language
- Experience in investment, financial analysis & reporting, fiscal, and planning.
- Good exposure to handling complex financials and an extensive balance sheet.
- Solid financial and accounting background, including an understanding of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow management, and general finance and budgeting.
