NURSE
Médecins Sans Frontièrès (MSF – Doctors without Borders) is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organization that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural disasters and exclusion from healthcare. MSF offers assistance to people based on need, irrespective of race, religion, gender or political affiliation. MSF is therefore guided by the principles of neutrality and impartiality. These principles must apply to all MSF staff.
Main Purpose |
Providing nursing care, treatment and follow-up of patients, according to doctors’ prescriptions, protocols applied in service and universal hygiene standards/precautions, in order to ensure the quality and continuity of care for the targeted population

The MSF project in Giza runs an outpatient clinic that offers a comprehensive package of care. This package includes medical care, psychological care, social support (referrals) and physiotherapy. Each patient has a personalized treatment plan. A strong community component has also been developed and Mental Health services are provided at community level.

Job Requirements
Education | Essential:Bachelor’s Degree in nursing

Experience | Essential: Minimum of 1 years of previous experience in general nursing; Desirable: Previous working experience in an other NGO’s

Languages | Essential: Fluent in both English and Arabic (oral and written)
| |
Knowledge | Essential: Computer literacy (Microsoft Office,). | |

Working hours: Full time 8:30am – 5:00pm, Full Time, Fixed term contract
