Senior Oracle Database Admin (DBA)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for ensuring production data is secured and limited for approved user’s access.
- Deployment and maintenance of Oracle RAC, Data Guard and High Availability.
- Deployment and maintenance of Business environments (Oracle databases, Application Servers, Reporting Servers) and tools and e-business suite.
- Deployment of new systems and changes based on prepared deployment documentations by developers.
- Maintain development, user acceptance, production and standby environments.
- Work with team to ensure that the associated hardware resources are allocated to the databases and ensure high availability and optimum performance.
- To proactively monitor the database systems to ensure secure services with minimum downtime.
- Responsible of company database production environment administration.
- Development of necessary Linux scripts to integrate with ports authority and to monitor integration.
- Responsible for problem escalation to Oracle support team in databases and third parties as appropriate.
- Responsible for improvement and maintenance of databases including rollout and upgrades.
- Responsible for implementation and release of database changes as submitted by the development team.
- Responsible for database design and maintain backup policies.
- Responsible for maintenance of the applications and databases on primary sites as well as disaster recover sites.
- Releasing the applications developments and new implementations to production environment
- Maintaining the security on the level Oracle databases
- Support infrastructure team in integration of backup solution and backups and restoration
- Periodically checking the correctness of the database backups
- Administration of development and testing environments
- Restoring of the production environments to development and testing environments
- Responsible for support databases and applications services administration.
- Complying with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and IT policies.

Software Developer
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Development of operational and top management analytics business intelligence tools and development tools.
- Responsible for the integration of company web site and core business applications (container terminal management system)
- Creating efficient and logical database for any required analytics.
- Responsible for problem escalation to Support team in applications and third parties as appropriate.
- Creating and executing project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Communicating and enforcing coding standards.
- Responsible for company information security in data area.
- Receiving systems implemented analytics by vendors and continue support and development on them.
- Understanding complex development frameworks and applying them.
- Understanding complex database concepts as well as the implications of different database designs.
- Assist for support of applications.
- Complying with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Complying with ITIL framework for the operation support
- Complying with AIM methodology and templates
Applications Support Engineer
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Liaising extensively with relevant departments and support teams.
- Provide (Level 1 Support, Technical Support, Administration, Functional Support, Upgrade & Security Patching process) for nGen, nBIS, HPDX, OCR and Auto-Gate Applications.
- Analyzing Terminal departments needs and requirements.
- Translating departments requirements into highly specified project briefs
- Complying with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and IT Policies
- Working closely with developers and DBAs and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction.
- Drawing up a testing schedule for required systems and/or its updates.
- Overseeing the implementation of a new system jointly with the team
- Planning and working to a deadline
- Documenting analysis, solution design, user manuals, and training manuals
- Providing training to users of a new system and/or updates
- Providing advanced training to stakeholders of existing systems
- Knowledge share within IT team for terminal operation system and its related functions and will work as a business advisor for terminal operations.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Expert in Core Oracle database management, Oracle App. Servers & Oracle E-business suite is a plus.
- Expert in RMAN and online oracle backup.
- Working in real time business environments.

- Physical Disk Storage skills.
- Database Security skills.
- Knowledge of ITIL framework, SDLC and AIM Methodology and service management software.

- 4 to 6 years of proven database administration experience with Oracle databases systems

Software Developer

- Development Experience of Oracle database, APEX, reporting tools.
- Development Experience on Business Intelligence tools.
- Development Experience on Oracle Business suite development tools is a plus.
- Overall, Knowledge of Oracle application database structure.
- Knowledge of Oracle Database development administration.
- Knowledge of Java is a plus.
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AND ANOTHER QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.
- Oracle certified application Developer is plus.
- Minimum 3 years of Oracle Development using forms, Reports, APEX, and database design.
- Strong communication skills, good organization skills and Good interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong Business and Analytical skills for complex problem solving.
- The ability to understand business problems and to use analytical skills to research and resolve.

Applications Support Engineer

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AND ANOTHER QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience
- 6 years of proven business analyst experience with Ports Management systems
- Developing experience is a plus.
- Prior experience developing Business Process Models is a plus.
