Job Description
- Optimize project logistics to align with the requirements of each project.
- Manage the movement of people, goods, and equipment at the construction site while ensuring effective facilities management.
- Oversee the management of all traffic and transportation, both internally and externally.
- Manage the installation of site caravans and their associated facilities.
- Handle rental traffic and process invoices from rental suppliers.
- Supervise the maintenance of the fleet and coordinate dispatch trips with qualified personnel.
- The vehicle operation supervisor is responsible for developing and optimizing site logistics solutions to meet project needs.
- Plan internal and external logistics routes throughout project phases with a focus on separating vehicles, machinery, and personnel.
- Create operational procedures and method statements for logistics processes.
- Responsible for monitoring and ensuring compliance with vehicle licensing and insurance requirements.
Job Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar role with a proven track record.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with cloud solutions such as OneDrive, Google Drive, and Microsoft Teams.
- Skills in mapping and routing for planning purposes.
- Experience with GPS tracking systems, specifically LiveOps.
- Knowledge of fleet maintenance and spare parts management.
- Proven experience working with suppliers for vehicles and equipment.
