Job Description
We are looking for a Substation Project Engineer for a well-known Saudi Arabian Contracting company:
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Job Duties:
- Able to develop and lead team members in design of utility substations
- Develop proposals to include cost and construction schedule estimates
- Designs to include selection of substation equipment, elementary and wiring diagrams, SCADA, one-line diagrams, physical layouts, and cable/conduit routing/sizing
- Ensure company procedures are followed by all team members
- Complete quality assurance/quality control for all project deliverables
- Regularly correspond/meet with clients
- Manage quality, cost, and schedule of projects
- Ability to apply IEEE/ANSI standards to substation projects ranging from 15kV through 500kV
Job Requirements
- 5+ years substation design experience.
- BSc Degree in Electrical Engineering is a must.
- Experience completing multiple concurrent substation projects
- Prior team leadership experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
