Job Description
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and management on HR-related issues and policy interpretation.
- Lead employee relations efforts, including conflict resolution, investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Analyze HR metrics and provide insights and recommendations to drive improvements.
- Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Prepare and process employment documentation including contracts, onboarding/offboarding forms, promotions, transfers, and terminations.
- Support HR audits and reporting by providing accurate data and documentation.
- Monitor and track employee leave, absences, and timekeeping compliance.
- Assist with payroll preparation by providing necessary employee information.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s or HR certification preferred – SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR).
- 4–6 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a generalist or senior generalist role.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with [specific HR software, ERP].
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
