Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Liaising with key company employees to determine their product and service needs.
- Monitor business trends and product availability to pay the best price for company goods and services without sacrificing quality or delivery times.
- Nurture relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best prices for the company.
- Identify and research potential new suppliers.
- Research new products and services to meet company's goals in terms of quality and cost.
- Assess total costs of company purchases.
- Develop and implement strategies for procuring, storing, and distributing goods or services and maintaining stock levels.
- The supervision, control and proper arrangement of stocks.
- Proper maintenance of stores documentation.
- Supervision and ensuring an up-to-date inventory control system.
- Logistics for the import and export.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration with minimum of 7 years' experience in the managerial category.
- Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as dexterity in “reading” the market.
- Talent in negotiation and networking.
- Good knowledge of Materials Management module in ERP
- Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers.
- Experience in collecting and analyzing data.
