Job Description
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, pricing, and reliability.
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure long-term partnerships.
- Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with vendors to achieve optimal value.
- Ensure that all procurement activities comply with company policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to track and manage stock levels effectively.
- Analyze inventory trends and make recommendations for improvement.
- Draft, review, and manage supplier contracts.
- Monitor contract performance to ensure suppliers meet their obligations.
- Address any discrepancies or disputes with vendors.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier performance.
- Prepare reports on purchasing metrics, including cost analysis, delivery times, and vendor performance.
- Use data to recommend improvements in the procurement process.
