Site Construction Manager (Civil) – Waste-to-Energy Project
About the Opportunity:
Green Tech Egypt/Renergy Group Partners present a unique opportunity for individuals to be part of the Employers organisation during the EPC construction of Egypt’s first Waste-to-Energy project.
Responsibilities:
As the Site Construction Manager for the Waste-to-Energy project, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating various aspects of the construction process on behalf of Renergy Group Partners. Your responsibilities include:
- Managing, coordinating, and supervising all on-site activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards, health and safety protocols, and budgetary constraints on behalf of the Employer.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of site engineers and quality supervisors.
- Liaising with the EPC Contractor to achieve timely project completion, meanwhile ensuring compliance to the project quality standards.
- Reviewing Civil Design drawings and documents, supervising Civil construction works.
- Managing and supervising related parallel projects, such as utility connections, to ensure timely completion and seamless integration with the main project.
- Coordinating daily activities with the EPC contractor and holding progress meetings to monitor and follow up on actions.
- Coordinate with external consultants, Authorities and other stakeholders..
- Providing daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
Reporting Structure:
As the Site Manager overseeing the day-to-day construction activities, you will report directly to the Project Director.
Contract Details:
- Employment Duration: 2 years with a 1-month trial period.
- Work Location: Employer’s offices at the project site in Abu Rawash (Giza).
- Working Schedule: 6 days a week (Saturday-Thursday), averaging 9 hours per day.

Job Requirements
Minimum qualifications:
To excel in this position, candidates should meet the following minimum qualifications:
- Civil Engineering degree from an accredited university.
- A minimum of 15 years experience in managing multidisciplinary construction projects, particularly with an international EPC Contractor.
- Proficient understanding of (FIDIC) construction contracts.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to foster teamwork and motivation.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic, both spoken and written.
