Job Description
- The cost accountant will report to the company Financial Controller.
- He will analyze company variable and fixed cost.
- Develop reports of cost behavior with different levels of production.
- Evaluate company break even point.
- Explain and treat cost variances.
- Evaluate inventories at different categories.
- Update standard costing.
- Suggest cost saving opportunities.
- Understand company cost accounting package and validate appropriateness.
- Develop excel worksheets that explain actual costs and changes in profit margins.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of accounting.
- Post graduate certificate in costing is an asset.
- Must be fluent in speaking, writing and listening English.
- Master use and development of excel sheets.
- High level analytical skills.
- At least five years experience in cost accounting.
