Job Description
- Convert the dictated audio files into typewritten format with ability to listen and type simultaneously using correct punctuation, grammar and spelling with quality of 80% and above.
- Performing other transcription-related tasks as required.
- Match clinic letters transcriptionists produce against dictations and review them for any spelling, grammar, or formatting errors, as well as other inconsistencies.
Job Requirements
- Excellent listening skills: Able to listen and understand different accents and indiscernible words with high accuracy and type simultaneously.
- English studies is a must, medical experience is a plus.
- High keyboarding skills: Able to type not less than 45w/min (preferably touch typist).
- High accuracy: Attention to detail with ability to spot grammar, spelling and punctuation errors.
- Excellent research skills: Able to browse and surf the internet to find specific info related to consultants, locations, medical information, etc..
- Experience with transcription software and tools is a plus.
