Accountant - Tanta

The job incumbent will assume full responsibility for overseeing all financial transactions, including both manual entries in the books and data management in software systems. They will also be responsible for managing tax-related transactions, conducting in-depth analyses, and preparing detailed reports when needed. Their main objective will be to ensure strict adherence to accounting standards and company policies during all stages of these processes.
 

What will you be doing?

• Managing all accounting transactions: Overseeing and managing all financial transactions within the organization, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting principles.
• Assisting in preparing budget forecasts: Contributing to the process of creating budget forecasts by providing financial insights and data to support informed decision-making.
• Reporting accounting statements on time: Preparing and presenting timely and accurate accounting statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Handling monthly, quarterly, and annual closings: Overseeing the closing procedures for each accounting period, ensuring proper reconciliation and timely reporting of financial records.
• Reconciling accounts payable and receivable: Verifying that accounts payable and accounts receivable are accurately recorded and reconciled, ensuring proper management of payments and collections.
• Ensuring timely bank payments: Managing and processing bank payments to vendors, suppliers, and stakeholders, ensuring they are made on time and in accordance with financial obligations.
• Computing taxes and preparing tax returns: Calculating taxes owed and preparing accurate tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and meeting filing deadlines.
• Auditing financial transactions and documents: Conducting regular audits of financial transactions and documents to ensure accuracy, identify discrepancies, and mitigate financial risks.
• Reinforcing financial data confidentiality and conducting database backups: Prioritizing the confidentiality and security of financial data by implementing measures to protect sensitive information and conducting regular backups of financial databases.
• Complying with financial policies and regulations: Ensuring strict adherence to financial policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements, maintaining compliance throughout all financial processes and procedures.
