Job Description
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and translate them into user-friendly designs.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that align with the overall product vision and user experience goals.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
- Design and maintain a cohesive visual identity across all Octane products, ensuring consistency in branding and user experience.
- Develop and refine design systems and guidelines to ensure scalability and maintainability of the design process.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in product design, UX/UI design, and digital experiences.
- Participate in cross-functional design reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Advocate for the user at every stage of the product development process, ensuring that the final product is both functional and delightful.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in design, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in product design, UX/UI design, or a related role.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
- Strong portfolio showcasing your experience in designing digital products and experiences.
- Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Experience with user research methods and usability testing.
- Ability to communicate design concepts and rationale clearly to various stakeholders.
- Experience with designing for mobile-first and responsive design.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
