Purpose of the position

Prepare mechanical shop drawings and as-built drawings, and ensure documentation and records in use are reviewed, approved by the consultant. Evaluate mechanical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs.

Responsibilities:-

• Study the project documents including drawings, specifications, BOQ (Bill of Quantity), RFI (Request for information), correspondence.
• Prepare mechanical shop drawings and as-built drawings, and ensure documentation and records in use are reviewed, approved by the consultant.
• Prepare technical and material submittals.
• Follow-up shop drawing approval, material submittal approvals.
• Reviewing Statements provided by contractors According to Progress done.
• Providing reports to the upper level.
• Coordinate MEP project activities to meet deadlines.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical shop drawings, schematics, or computer-generated reports to support onsite construction activities.
• Research, design, and evaluate mechanical equipment, systems, or processes to meet requirements.
• Participating in initial & Final Hand-over Committees for Finalizing the Projects.
• Follow-up with the subcontractors all issues related to mechanical works.
