Job Description
- Ensure proper receiving, storing, and issuing of materials as per company standards.
- Monitor stock levels and analyze data to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Organize storage areas for efficient space utilization and easy access to materials.
- Ensure proper labeling and classification of inventory for easy tracking.
- Implement and enforce safety measures to prevent accidents and damages.
- Lead and supervise warehouse staff, ensuring tasks are distributed efficiently.
- Train employees on proper storage procedures and safety protocols.
- Monitor staff performance and provide guidance to enhance productivity.
- Work closely with procurement, production, and distribution teams to ensure the timely availability of materials.
- Oversee the receiving of new shipments and verify compliance with quality standards.
- Ensure timely and accurate dispatch of goods to different departments or customers.
- Identify and implement improvements in warehouse operations to enhance efficiency.
- Suggest solutions to reduce waste, errors, and unnecessary costs.
- Analyze reports and performance data to optimize workflow and minimize downtime.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures regarding warehouse management.
- Enforce safety and security measures to protect inventory and personnel.
- Maintain compliance with local regulations related to storage and logistics.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, with supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in report generation.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
