Job Description
- The candidate must have estimation & design experience in both (Firefighting and Fire alarm systems).
- Responsible for reviewing the scope of work, specifications, drawings and BOQ to prepare project cost estimations.
- Capable of reviewing specifications and preparing compliance statements.
- Prepare of firefighting & fire alarm design drawings and technical submittals.
- Evaluate client’s existing fire protection design by reviewing drawings/site survey data and prepare recommendations.
- The candidate must have excellent communication & English-speaking skills to attend online technical meetings with clients.
- Possess the knowledge and experience of NFPA, firefighting, fire alarm systems, FM200, NOVEC, Foam, and wet chemical kitchen hood fire protection systems.
- Have knowledge of the fire protection systems brands and overall markets.
- Good Skills in AutoCAD, MS Office, Elite software for Hydraulic calculations for (FM200, NOVEC and Co2) fire suppression systems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical Power Engineering or Equivalent.
- Previous experience with minimum 5-8 years as a Design & Estimation Engineer.
- Proven experience using CAD software, Elite software, and knowledge of SolidWorks is a plus.
- Good understanding of value engineering, safety standards, and environmental impact of a design.
- Ability to present in front of stakeholders and managers.
- Excellent oral and written communication.
- Attention to detail.
