Job Description
Category Manager Objective
To achieve budgeted sales targets of the entrusted clientele in line with commercial policy.
RESPONSIBILITIES – RESULTS / OBJECTIVES
- Target negotiate and conclude cooperation agreement with large targeted customers.
- Monitoring field activity of the sales force in terms of number direction and quality of visits.
- Manage key customers by means of Customer Action Plans, implemented by his team.
- Monitor credit control of his customers.
- Identify customer needs and propose appropriate solutions in order to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Monitor competitors activity and manage company reaction in cooperation with his hierarchy.
- Elaborate and support his team in the implementation of the appropriate actions, in order to penetrate effectively into new customers.
- Ensure application of the Commercial Policy
- Leading and coaching the entrusted team, and evaluating their performance on a periodical basis (annual, semiannual) against measurable targets and qualitative objectives.
- Manage prices in order to take advantage of the entrusted product range positioning, face to the competition, respecting discount policy, in cooperation with his hierarchy.
- Submit to his hierarchy reports on market developments, competitors activity, prices etc.
- Submit Monthly Sales Forecast
