Job Description
- Provide accounting administration services for assigned areas of accounting (less complex and routine in nature) to internal customers so that quality, cost and time targets are met in line with relevant policies and procedures.
- Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure exchange of all relevant information so that transactions progress in line with timelines and requirements.
- Conduct system updates with all relevant data, maintaining master data in accordance with defined standards to maintain accurate transactions processing.
- Prepare assigned section reports and analysis and submit it to higher levels in order to provide clear tracking of section/department key activities.
- Provide technical support and advice to Entry levels to assist in building up their knowledge of company policies and procedures
- Log accounting information accurately onto the system in order to maintain a high level of information quality and accuracy.
- Close the books and sign it off on a monthly basis & yearly basis.
- Uses the Nav. Accounting System for all accounting posting & transactions
- Make sure that all invoices are linked to a purchase order (PO)
- Minimize the value of Lost Discounts from Suppliers source (Early Bird)
- Cost allocation accuracy sourcing.
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting or a relevant Commercial degree
- 3-5 years of experience in Accounting or related experience required
Skills:
- Understanding of accounting methodologies & Egyptian tax laws
- Analytical thinking, Attention to details
- Fluent in English is a must.
- Effective communication, Problem solving capabilities
- Computer proficiency, NAV. ACCOUNTING SYSTEM Knowledge is a plus.
