Job Description
- Working in a Startup environment reporting directly to Financial Manager
- Book keeping
- Maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts
- Preparing financial reports
- Preparing revenue projections and forecasting expenses
- Assisting with corporate paperwork and administration
- Assisting with Payroll and financial HR Matters
- Assisting with annual audit preparations.
- Preparing and processing supplier payments and customer invoices
- Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
- Assist with tax audits and tax returns
- Support the implementation of the Accounting Software System
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting
- Solid understanding of accounting, banking laws, and regulations
- Solid understanding of accounting audit theories and practices
- 5-10 years practice in the field
- Hands-on experience with accounting software packages
- Proficient in online banking systems
- Fluent in English and Arabic
- Enjoys working and collaborating in an entrepreneurial environment
- 100% results driven
- Excellent Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong interpersonal skills, critical thinking skills, and time management skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
- BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant
- Relevant certification (e.g. CMA or CPA) will be preferred
