Job Description
- Design medium voltage sheet metal enclosures with precise mechanical detailing, including ventilation, access doors, and mounting structures.
- Develop accurate workshop drawings for bending operations and manufacturing.
- Create and optimize DXF files for laser cutting and ensure efficient nesting.
- Work closely with the electrical engineering team to ensure seamless integration.
- Apply industry standards and ABB specifications in all designs.
Job Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in sheet metal design, preferably in MV or LV electrical panels.
- Strong skills in SOLIDWORKS (Sheet Metal module) – professional level.
- Working knowledge of Autodesk Inventor – intermediate level.
- Good command of AutoCAD, especially 2D layout and mechanical detailing.
- Understanding of MV panel requirements including IP ratings, arc-proof designs, and compartmentalization.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
