Job Description

Job Purpose 

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple casual dining restaurant outlets across Egypt. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for the food and beverage industry, and a deep understanding of customer service, team development, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of assigned restaurant branches to ensure high levels of performance, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
  • Monitor sales performance, labor costs, and food & beverage costs across locations to achieve financial targets.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, brand standards, and health & safety regulations.
  • Lead, train, and motivate restaurant managers and staff to ensure efficient workflow and high team morale.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize operations and improve customer experience.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve operational issues swiftly and effectively.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with hygiene, quality, and service standards.
  • Coordinate with supply chain and purchasing teams to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods.
  • Participate in the recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations of restaurant staff and managers.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to make strategic business recommendations.
  • Support the launch of new branches, including setup, staffing, and training.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 15-20 years of experience in restaurant or hospitality operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of the Egyptian food & beverage market, especially in the casual dining segment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to travel frequently to oversee restaurant operations across different locations.
  • Proficient in restaurant management systems, POS software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluency in Arabic and good command of English is required.
