Job Description
- Manage all accounting operations related to engineering projects, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Prepare and analyze project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Monitor project costs and revenues, ensuring accurate billing and invoicing.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and systems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting from a Faculty of Commerce – English Section.
- 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Good level of communication in English.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience with QUICKBOOKS and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, CMA). Is a plus
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
