Job Description
Our clients are respectable Australian medical clinics, who are looking for skilled and experienced Internal Medicine Doctors / General Practitioners.
- Pay: $5000 - $7000 USD per month plus 11% superannuation.
- Minimum 4 weeks paid annual leave.
- Must have 3 plus years of experience as a Internal Medicine Doctor / General Practitioner.
- Full sponsorship provided.
Job Requirements
- Examine patient for illness or injury, plan and provide treatment in the form of medicines and therapies and refer them to specialist providers if necessary.
- Conduct routine adult physicals as well as youth sports physicals.
- Practice active listening and excellent communication skills with patients, their families and all staff, addressing patient concerns as the highest priority.
- Documents treatments on digital charting software adhering to community clinic’s medical charting standards including ongoing progress notes and test results.
- Work with other physicians and supportive staff as a team in order to collaborate on diagnoses and perform procedures such as splinting broken bones stabilizing for hospital transport and wound suturing.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding medical conditions and their treatment options as well as preventative care strategies of nutrition exercise and hygiene.
- Order laboratory tests such as white blood cell count, Diabetes and rays and interpret test results.
- Respond to patients’ medical/health problems by referring to their history and carrying out diagnosis, investigation, treatment and referral to their as appropriate.
- Discuss side-effects, best conditions for use, and possible interactions.
- Contribute to the delivery of patient services with nurses and other medical staff.
- Collect, record and maintain patient information, such as medical history, reports and examination results.
