Role Overview

The SEO Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing effective search engine optimization strategies to improve organic search rankings, website traffic, and conversions. This role demands a strong understanding of SEO best practices, keyword research, content optimization, and technical SEO, as well as a data-driven approach to achieving results.

SEO Strategy Development: Design and execute comprehensive SEO strategies that align with company objectives and target audience needs.

Keyword Research: Identify high-performing keywords and trends to optimize content for search engines and user intent.

On-Page Optimization: Optimize website content, meta tags, headers, images, and URLs for improved search visibility.

Off-Page Optimization: Develop and execute link-building campaigns to enhance domain authority.

Technical SEO: Conduct site audits, improve website structure, page speed, mobile-friendliness, and resolve technical issues affecting SEO performance.

Content Collaboration: Work closely with content creators to ensure alignment with SEO strategies and create engaging, optimized content.

Analytics & Reporting: Monitor SEO performance metrics (traffic, rankings, click-through rates) and provide actionable insights through regular reports.

Competitor Analysis: Analyze competitor websites and strategies to identify opportunities for growth.

Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest SEO trends, search engine algorithm updates, and industry best practices.


 

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, IT, or related field (preferred).
  2. Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role (1–3 years).
  3. Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
  4. Proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Screaming Frog.
  5. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic web development concepts.
  6. Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Shopify).
  7. Familiarity with on-page and off-page SEO, including link-building techniques.
  8. Ability to perform technical SEO audits and implement recommendations.
  9. Strong analytical skills to measure the effectiveness of campaigns.
  10. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  11. A results-driven mindset with attention to detail.
