Job Description

  1. Customisation and Development:
    • Design, develop, and customise Retail functionalities within Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
    • Implement and maintain modifications to meet business requirements.
  2. Integration:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Retail modules with other business applications.
    • Ensure seamless data flow and communication between different modules.
  3. Code Review and Optimisation:
    • Conduct code reviews to ensure best practices and code quality standards are met.
    • Optimise and enhance existing code for improved performance.
  4. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:
    • Diagnose and resolve issues related to Retail modules promptly.
    • Provide ongoing support and address user-reported problems.
  5. Collaboration:
    • Work closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and end-users to understand business processes and requirements.
    • Collaborate with other developers and stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions.
  6. Documentation:
    • Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions.
    • Document customisation and configuration details for future reference.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Retail Developer.
  • Strong proficiency in X++, C#, CSU Core, Commerce SDK and Retail SDK.
  • In-depth knowledge of Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Retail module.
  • Experience with Retail configurations, price management, and POS functionalities.
  • Familiarity with Retail data migrations and integrations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications related to Retail development.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and source control management.
  • Knowledge of Retail industry best practices.
