Job Description
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for materials, equipment, and services in line with company standards and project requirements.
- Prepare and issue RFQs, analyze quotations, and negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Ensure procurement activities are compliant with company policies, contractual obligations, and budget constraints.
- Work closely with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to forecast needs and ensure timely material availability.
- Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships to improve quality, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
- Track and report procurement KPIs such as lead times, cost savings, and supplier performance.
- Coordinate with the logistics team for proper delivery, customs clearance (if required), and storage of materials.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records, including purchase orders, delivery notes, and supplier agreements.
- Support audits and ensure documentation is in line with ISO and other regulatory standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in procurement, preferably within the facility management, construction, or MEP industry.
- Solid understanding of materials and equipment used in facility management and maintenance services.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle).
- Knowledge of local and international procurement laws and regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
