Job Description
Job responsibilities:-
- Submit reimbursement requests to state, private, and employer insurance
- Work with self-paying patients to develop payment arrangements
- Ensure proper records handling and fast payment responses by entering data accurately and promptly
- Follow up on insurance claims, including denials, payments, and requests for more information
- Consult with patients’ families as needed
- Post payments immediately when received and document payment records and issues as they occur
- Initiate private pay collections after insurance cancellation, denial, or other issues
- Research and resolve client billing questions or issues
