Job Description
Technology Integration:
- Ensure smooth integration and usage of the Odoo system for warehouse and inventory management.
- Oversee the implementation of barcoding systems and ensure all products are correctly tagged and tracked.
Replenishment and Product Movement:
- Manage daily replenishment activities, ensuring stores are restocked according to the daily replenishment report.
- Coordinate the movement of products in line with the supply chain reports (Best Seller Report, Slow Seller Report, etc.).
Cross-Department Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Supply Chain Manager, Quality Control, and Logistics teams to ensure efficient and timely product handling from warehouse to stores.
- Coordinate with Operations to plan for new product arrivals and distribution strategies.
Shift Management:
- Oversee the 24-hour shift system, ensuring warehouse operations run smoothly across all shifts.
- Handle shift transitions and ensure proper handover between morning, evening, and overnight shifts.
Inventory and Stock Control:
- Implement safety stock policies and ensure stock levels are maintained as per the company's guidelines.
- Oversee the stocktake process, ensuring accuracy in stock levels across collections (e.g., Summer 24, Winter 23).
KPIs and Continuous Improvement:
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for warehouse efficiency, ensuring continuous improvement in space utilization, order accuracy, and on-time delivery.
- Lead initiatives to optimize warehouse processes and improve overall efficiency.
Job Requirements
Experience:
- Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar role, preferably in the fashion or retail industry.
- Expertise in warehouse management procedures, operations, and best practices.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing process improvement initiatives and optimizing warehouse efficiency.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge and understanding of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as stock accuracy, order picking accuracy, and timely replenishment.
- Hands-on experience with warehouse management software (WMS) and ERP systems (e.g., Odoo) for stock management, product tracking, and reporting.
- Proficiency in database management, MS Excel, and generating reports on stock levels, movement, and other key metrics.
Leadership and Management:
- Excellent leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and motivate warehouse staff, including overseeing a multi-shift operation (morning, evening, and overnight shifts).
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities, especially in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
- Experience in developing and managing team schedules, performance reviews, and ensuring compliance with warehouse safety standards.
Communication:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal teams (Supply Chain, Quality Control, Logistics) and external partners (suppliers, transport companies).
- Ability to provide clear direction and maintain effective communication across shifts, especially during shift transitions.
Education:
- BS degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Additional certifications in warehouse management, logistics, or health and safety standards are a plus.
Other Requirements:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage budgets, track expenses, and control warehouse costs.
- A thorough understanding of safety, health, and hygiene regulations in a warehouse setting.
