Job Description

  • 1. Review and discuss sales reports for the past season with the commercial department, prepare a report on the positives and negatives, and work to avoid the negatives.
  • Developing the collection each season, including colors - materials - models - accessories
  • Choosing the models and materials used in the collection (determining seasonal colors and making color samples).
  • Coloring the materials used in the collection, delivering the fabric order, and setting dates for receiving the materials and accessories.
  • Make a style sheet and specify the complete details of the models .
  • Request accessories by following up with the purchasing department .
  • Responsible for reviewing all sizes of new patrons within an appropriate period of time before the order enters manufacturing.
  • Deliver the orders to the technical office with complete data on the agreed upon date.
  • Coordination with the stylists regarding the direction of photography and crews.
  • 10. Make a final presentation of the collection to present it to the commercial administration in terms of new materials, models, patterns, and colors.
  • After the collection is released, a survey and reports are conducted about the goods in the company’s branches.
  • Review the collection with the branches in the field to see the positives and negatives and present them to management.
  • Hold a weekly meeting with management to discuss what was implemented during the week.
  • Make a calendar for annual events .
  • Quickly inform the direct manager if there is a problem so as not to hinder the workflow.

Job Requirements

  •  An appropriate higher qualification from a recognized Egyptian university, “Bachelor of Applied Arts”.
  • Full proficiency in using computer software applications (Excel-Word-PowerPoint).
  • Comprehensive computer software (ERP) and all programs related to the field of design.
  • Full proficiency in the English language, spoken and written.
  • Previous experience in such types of job work, at least 5 years
  •  Attention to detail and keen observation.
  • Drawing preliminary and detailed models of clothing and accessories to lay the foundations for new designs.
  •  Time management.
  • The skill of writing correspondence, letters, or investigations.
  •  Ensuring the quality and mastery of work.
  •  Enjoy working in a team spirit.
  •  Ability to prepare reports.
  • The ability to solve problems.
  • The ability to cooperate and influence.
  •  Good performance under work pressure.
  •  The ability to change and develop.
  • Excellent ability to communicate. 
  • The ability to listen actively.
