Job Description

Job Purpose:
We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Operations & Travel Consultant Intern to join our travel and tourism team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates from Hotel and Tourism Management programs who are eager to gain hands-on experience in both ground travel operations and travel consultancy. The intern will assist in designing travel packages, handling ground operations, coordinating with suppliers, and supporting client interactions—developing essential skills in the travel and hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities:


1.Tour Package Assistance

  • Develop and quote customized inbound travel packages for Egypt.
  • Work with hotels, transportation providers, and guides to gather rates and availability.


2.Ground Operations (Airport Coordination)

  • Assist in coordinating airport meet & greet services, transfers, and guest handling.
  • Liaise with airport representatives, drivers, and ground staff for seamless operations.
     

3.Client Interaction

  • Communicate with clients to understand their travel preferences and provide personalized support.
  • Offer recommendations and assist in itinerary planning.


4.Supplier & Vendor Coordination

  • Maintain communication with local suppliers, hotels, and guides to ensure service quality.
  • Support rate negotiations and logistics planning.


5. Sales Presentations

  • Participate in online demos and package presentations for potential clients.
  • Support the sales team in showcasing Egypt’s tourism experiences.


6.Customer Service & Experience:

  • Address customer inquiries, complaints, and issues in a timely and professional manner, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.


7.Compliance & Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure all services comply with religious guidelines, legal regulations, and industry standards.
  • Support team members in daily operational tasks and contribute to a smooth office workflow.
  • Learn how to handle unexpected situations, such as flight delays or guest complaints, and assist in resolving issues promptly.

Job Requirements

Dimensions:


Personal Qualities:

  • Excellent English communication skills B2+ or higher level (spoken and written)
  • Passion to Travel
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities
  • Presentable and professional appearance, especially in airport settings
  • Willingness to work flexible hours (early mornings, late evenings, or weekends if needed)
  • Ability to multi-task and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Tourism and Hotels Management is a must


Experience:

  • 0-1 Year of experience
  • Any prior internships, volunteer work, or student projects in travel, tourism, or hospitality are a plus
  • Exposure to airport environments or customer-facing roles is advantageous
