Company Overview: Join our dynamic team at Event Meeting Space startup, we are bootstrapping a remote-only company that will leads the area of event space booking for businesses in Saudi Arabia and the MENA region. Our small but dynamic team is located in multiple cities including Cairo, Riyadh, and Berlin. We are committed to innovation and excellence. We're seeking a talented Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. If you're passionate about creating end-to-end solutions, proficient in Node.js, and experienced with AWS technologies, this role is an excellent opportunity for you.
Position Overview: As a Full Stack Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications. You'll work across the entire software stack, from frontend to backend (with main focus on backend), leveraging your expertise in Node.js and AWS technologies. If you're a problem-solver with a strong understanding of RESTful APIs, we want you to contribute to our exciting projects.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement end-to-end solutions for web applications.
- Develop and maintain server-side logic using Node.js for robust and scalable backend services.
- Create and optimize database schemas (SQL and/or NoSQL) to support application requirements.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless integration between frontend and backend.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Utilize AWS services to deploy, manage, and scale applications effectively.
- Collaborate with team to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Contribute to maintaining clean code and high coding standards.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience 3 as a Full Stack Developer.
- Proficiency in Node.js and solid understanding of server-side development.
- Experience with both relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
- Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation.
- Familiarity with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, EC2, S3, DynamoDB) and serverless architecture.
- Frontend development skills using modern frameworks (e.g., React).
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
