Job Description

Job Summary:
The R&D Packaging Material Specialist will be responsible for developing, testing, and optimizing packaging solutions Of cosmetics and aerosols products, that align with the company’s quality standards, sustainability goals, and product-specific requirements. This role will involve close collaboration with product development, quality, production, and marketing teams to ensure that packaging materials meet regulatory standards, aesthetic requirements, and performance benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Packaging Development and Testing:
o Evaluate, select, and test new packaging materials to ensure quality and suitability for cosmetic products.
o Conduct durability, compatibility, and shelf-life tests for various packaging materials.
o Coordinate with suppliers to source innovative and cost-effective packaging solutions.
o Review vendor specifications and manage relationships with packaging material suppliers to ensure high quality and timely supply.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Packaging Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in packaging development, preferably in the cosmetics or FMCG industry.
• Strong understanding of packaging materials (plastics, glass, metals, etc.) and their properties.
