Job Description
- Assist in managing and preparing litigation cases, including gathering and organizing evidence, legal documents, and case files.
- Attend court sessions, hearings, and arbitration meetings under the supervision of senior lawyers.
- Conduct thorough research on case laws, statutes, and legal precedents to support litigation strategies.
- Prepare legal memoranda and briefs for court submissions.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents for litigation proceedings.
- Assist in reviewing contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to disputes.
- Represent the organization in preliminary hearings and minor legal matters under the guidance of senior lawyers.
- Ensure timely submission of filings, responses, and other necessary documents to courts or legal authorities.
- Assist in negotiation and settlement discussions to resolve disputes effectively.
- Work with external counsel and ensure alignment with the company’s legal strategy in ongoing litigation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of litigation cases and legal correspondence.
- Prepare periodic reports summarizing litigation progress and outcomes for the management team.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in legal litigations (internship or full-time role).
- Strong understanding of litigation processes and procedures.
- Excellent research and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in drafting legal documents, pleadings, and court submissions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present arguments clearly.
- Familiarity with legal research tools and MS Office applications.
- Membership in the Bar Association.
