Job Description
- Plans and implements the lesson plan for students throughout the school year.
- Engage with students and foster an interactive learning environment.
- Teaches music courses.
- Leads rehearsals for musical programs.
- Records student progress and attendance.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure students receive a well-rounded educational experience that promotes their overall academic success.
- Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders to keep them informed of student progress and any issues that may arise.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to keep up-to-date with the latest teaching techniques, technologies, and best practices in the field of music education.
- Plan and execute educational in-class and outdoor activities and events.
- Attend department meetings, parents’ meetings, and all staff meetings, and provide any information required for individual pupils.
- Contribute to supervisory duties, administrative routines, and duties, in pastoral and curricular matters following school policies.
- Take part in the school’s “life”, and curricular activities outside of classes including those that take place in evenings and weekends such as Christmas party, winter show, annual shows …etc.
- Adhere to and promote all school values, policies and procedures.
Job Requirements
- Ability to communicate and deliver lessons in fluent English. (spoken and written)
- Experience in American curriculum is a must.
